<p>As India put up a brave fight against the deadly Coronavirus in its second wave, the government is all set to roll out the extended vaccination drive across the country from May 1, for which the registration on the Co-Win app will start on Wednesday (April 28). </p> <p>It is to be noted that there will be no walk-in for beneficiaries in the third phase. The manufacturers would be free to supply the remaining 50 percent doses to state governments and in the open market.</p> <h3>Here's Step-by-Step Process For 18+ Age Group To Register For Covid Vaccination:</h3> <p><strong>Step 1:</strong> Firstly visit www.cowin.gov.in and enter your mobile number</p> <p><strong>Step 2:</strong> An OTP will be sent to your registered number</p> <p><strong>Step 3:</strong> Enter OTP and click on verify button</p> <p><strong>Step 4:</strong> Once verified, the vaccination registration page will open up</p> <p><strong>Step 5:</strong> Submit details required along with valid photo ID proof</p> <p><strong>Step 6:</strong> Fill in details of comorbidities, if any</p> <p><strong>Step 7:</strong> Click on the register button at the bottom right</p> <h3><strong>Documents Handy For Registration</strong></h3> <p> Aadhaar card</p> <p> PAN card</p> <p> Voter ID</p> <p> Driving license</p> <p> Health Insurance smart card issued under by Ministry of Labour</p> <p> Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Act (MGNREGA) job card</p> <p> Official identity cards issued to MPs/MLAs/MLCs</p> <p> Passport</p> <p> Passbooks issued by bank/post office</p> <p> Pension document</p> <p> Service identity card issued to employees by central/ state government / Public limited companies</p> <p><strong>Procedure for registration through Aarogya Setu app </strong></p> <p> Head to the Aarogya Setu app > Click on CoWIN tab on the home screen</p> <p> Select Vaccination Registration > Enter Phone Number > Enter OTP</p> <p> Click on Verify > You will be directed to the Registration of Vaccination page</p> <p> Follow the same steps as mentioned in the ‘Process for registration through CoWIN portal' guide.</p> <p>Each citizen has to take two shots of the vaccine. The CoWIN portal says that the second dose of Covaxin should be taken between 28 days to 42 days after the first dose. The second dose of Covishield should be taken between 28 days to 56 days after the first dose.</p>
