West Bengal: TMC MLA From Tehatta Constituency Succumbs To Covid 19

Although he was an MLA from Tehatta in 2016, this time the Trinamool did not nominate him. Instead, MLA Tapash Saha was brought from the adjoining assembly constituency of Palashipara to the Tehatta constituency. After that, he decided to change parties.&nbsp;</div> <div dir="auto">&nbsp;</div> <div dir="auto">However, the BJP did not give him a ticket, so he remained in TMC.</div> <div dir="auto">&nbsp;</div> <div dir="auto">West Bengal elections is in the last leg as voting is underway for the 8th Phase. The result of West Bengal election along with 3 other states and one Union Territory will be declared on May 2nd.</div>
