Maharashtra: ‘Free, Walk-In Vaccination’ For Students Going Abroad For Higher Studies, Says Aaditya Thackeray

<p><strong>Mumbai: </strong>Maharashtra Tourism and Environment Minister Aaditya Thackeray on Friday said the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) has arranged free, walk-in Covid-19 vaccination for the students, who have received confirmation of admission in universities abroad and require vaccines for the same.</p> <p>Thackeray said the vaccine doses will be administered at Rajawadi, Cooper and Kasturba centres on May 31, June 1 and June 2.</p> <p>&ldquo;For students who have received confirmation of admission in universities abroad &amp; require vaccines for the same, the @mybmc has arranged free, walk-in vaccination this coming Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday (31st May, 1st, 2nd June) at 3 centres- Rajawadi, Cooper &amp; Kasturba,&rdquo; he tweeted.</p> <p>[tw]https://twitter.com/AUThackeray/status/1398309073213300742[/tw]</p> <p>The Shiv Sena leader, however, said the &ldquo;students need to carry I- 20 or DS- 160 form/ verified confirmation letter to concerned foreign universities&rdquo; and their personal identity documents for the vaccine doses.</p> <p>&ldquo;The students need to carry I- 20 or DS- 160 form/ verified confirmation letter to concerned foreign universities, along with personal id documents.
