India & Israel Unveil Commemorative Logo To Mark 30th Anniversary Of Diplomatic Relations

<p><strong>New Delhi: </strong>Israel and India have unveiled a celebratory logo to honour the 30th anniversary of diplomatic ties between the two nations.</p> <p>The logo was launched digitally during an online ceremony attended by Israel's Ambassador to India, Naor Gilon, and India's Ambassador to Israel, Sanjeev Singla. Other top ambassadors from both nations attended the event as well.</p> <p>The logo incorporates the Star of David and the Ashoka Chakra, both of which appear on the national flags of both nations, to create the numeral 30 to commemorate the 30th anniversary of bilateral ties, the official statement mentioned.</p> <p>This unique logo reflects the two sides' expanding strategic collaboration, the Embassy Of Israel stated.</p> <p>"This is an important occasion to reflect on our mutual successes as well as a good opportunity to look ahead and shape the next 30 years of our relations. I am sure that our close existing cooperation in different fields will only continue to grow and flourish in the coming years," said Ambassador Naor Gilon.</p> <p>"India and Israel are two ancient people, proud of their cultural heritage, and two vibrant democracies, eager to grasp the future," said Ambassador Sanjeev Singla.</p> <p>Last year, the nations organised a logo design contest for students from famous design institutes in Israel and India to produce the 30th-anniversary logo.</p> <p>Holon Institute of Technology in Israel and the National Institute of Design in India were both asked to submit entries.</p> <p>Nikhil Kumar Rai, an Indian student, developed the winning design, which was picked by a joint decision of both nations' embassies and consulates.</p> <p>It was chosen as the official logo commemorating the 30th anniversary of diplomatic ties between Israel and India.</p> <p>"The 30th anniversary of relations between Israel and India will be marked throughout the year with an elaborate array of cultural events. We stay committed to building upon the remarkable achievements of the last three decades, to further develop this Growing Partnership in the decades to come, for the benefit of both nations," the official statement by Embassy Of Israel read.</p>
