Will Force Retirement Of 5 Lakh Employees: Varun Gandhi Opposes Privatisation Of Banks, Railways
<p><strong>New Delhi: </strong><span style="font-weight: 400;">BJP MP from Pilibhit Varun Gandhi on Tuesday opposed privatisation of banks and railways, saying it would leave five lakh people unemployed. </span></p> <p><span style="font-weight: 400;">He stressed on the fact that a public welfare government cannot create inequality and promote capitalism.</span></p> <p>"The privatisation of banks and railways alone will lead to the forced retirement of five lakh employees, meaning they will be unemployed. He had also written a letter to Prime Minister Narendra Modi demanding a compensation of Rs 1 crore for the kin of farmers who died during the protest and also asked that farmers’ demand of Minimum Support Price should also be met. </span></p>
