On March 7, light rainfall is likely over the western parts of the state," he said.

"On March 8, scattered thundershowers are expected in most parts of the state. Surface wind gusting at 30-40 kmph is also likely in some pockets on that day. However, this may not dampen Holi spirits," he said.

He said that the northeast, southern, and central parts of the state could see rain on March 9 and 10, and that the showers could drop the temperature by one to two degrees Celsius.

Also Read: PM Modi On Two-Day Visit To North East From Tuesday, To Attend Oath-Taking Ceremonies Of Three States
