'Jaishankar Doesn't Understand China Threat...': Rahul Gandhi in London

Congress leader Rahul Gandhi questioned India's policy towards China once more, claiming that Foreign Minister S Jaishankar does not understand the China threat. He told the media in London that he is fine with India's foreign policy but not with the situation in China. He stated that he spoke with the foreign minister.

"It was a conversation I had in a committee meeting. I can't comment on that. But he just doesn't understand it. He can keep saying what he wants. But the government is not understanding the actual threat from China. And a lot of commentators said this," Rahul Gandhi said.

"Simply stating that no one has entered our territory demonstrates that the prime minister is unaware of the threat. Because that statement sends a message to China that you can do it again. And that message was delivered to China by the Prime Minister himself": Rahul Gandhi said.

In an interview with ANI, Jaishankar recently defended India's stance on China, claiming that it was Prime Minister Modi, not Rahul Gandhi, who dispatched troops to the LAC.

Rahul Gandhi responded to another question about China by saying, "We have already been invaded in terms of invasion. We have 2000 square kilometres of our territory in the hands of the People's Liberation Army (PLA), and the Prime Minister has stated that no one has entered India, and not a single inch of land has been taken, which has weakened our negotiating position because our negotiators are being asked what the fuss is about."

"The Congress Party's policy towards China is clear. We will not tolerate anyone entering our territory and pushing and pulling on us. It makes no difference who they are. That is unacceptable to us. And what has happened is that the Chinese have invaded our territory and killed our soldiers, while the Prime Minister denies this. That's the problem?" He stated.

Gandhi Opened Up On BJP's 'Defaming Country' Allegation:

Gandhi also fired back at the government's criticism that he had vilified the country on foreign soil during his presentation at Cambridge University earlier this week, where he had first highlighted the topic of Indian democracy being "under attack".

He stated: "I've never defamed my country, and I'm not interested in doing so. The BJP likes to twist my words... The truth is that the person who defames India when he travels abroad is India's Prime Minister... saying there was a lost decade, and nothing happened in the last ten years - so what about all those people who worked in India, who built India in those ten years?"

'One Person Making All The Money': Gandhi Slams Adani

"Isn't he insulting them? And he's doing it in a foreign country." The Congress MP went on to say that there are billions of dollars behind the narrative being presented, and he singled out Gautam Adani, the Adani Group's Founder, and Chairman.

"I see what's going on in India with my own eyes. And I can see that Mr. Adani has risen from 609th richest man to second richest man in just three years. I can tell he's been rewarded all around. "I can see he's been given permission to dominate industries in every industry in the country," he said, adding that the businessman has a good relationship with the Prime Minister.

London: One or two business people control pretty much every business. He has become famous lately, you can see reports on his wealth. It's at the expense of the Indian people.
